Robin van Persie (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈrɔbɪn vɑn ˈpɛrsi] (listen); born 6 August 1983) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a forward for Feyenoord. He is regarded as one of the best strikers of his generation. He played over 100 times for the Netherlands national team.
